#IBE2023 – INNSBRUCK BEACHEVENT FOR PLAYERS
In 2023, the Innsbruck BeachEvent will once again not only be held as part of the Austrian Beach Volley Tour PRO, but also as a MEVZA tournament. We invite the Austrian and Central European elite to join us. Innsbruck, the heart of the Alps - enthusiastic about sports, full of life and always up for a party.
GENERAL INFO ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT
The Innsbruck BeachEvent will take place within the Austrian Beach Volley Tour PRO as a MEVZA tournament. 16 teams per gender will compete in the main draw (modified pool play). The seeding is in accordance with the CEV ranking. The winners will be awarded with € 4,000 prize money per gender.
PARTICIPATION
The MEVZA tournament is open to players from Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Israel, Cyprus, Croatia, Luxembourg, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
CHECK IN & PI
Check-in is on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at the side courts in Beach-WG20 (Wiesengasse 20).
Preliminary Inquiry Qualification: 09.00 - 10.00
Preliminary Inquiry Main Draw:
5 p.m. - 7 p.m
PRIZE MONEY
There is prize money of €4,000 per gender.
REGISTRATION
Registration is done via the respective national association.
Registration deadline: 31 August 2023
QUALIFYING
The qualification for the main competition will be played on Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 11 a.m. on the side courts in Beach-WG20 (Wiesengasse 20).

Marketplace Innsbruck & Beach-WG20
This year, for the first time, the game will be played in one of the most beautiful places in Innsbruck – on the market square. This is where the center court will be set up, including the grandstand, deck chair lounge, players area, moderation, bar and more. The side courts are located on Beach-WG20 at Wiesengasse 20. A shuttle is available for players to transport them.
BEACHPARTIES
Sundowner & After Parties
We celebrate the end of the beach day with our sundowner parties on center court. Daily from 6 p.m. Then it's on Sixty Twenty (Universitätsstraße 15a) with the after parties.
TICKETS
for the centre court
A ticket is required to visit the center court at the Marktplatz Innsbruck, the number of tickets is limited. The ticket is valid all day and can be purchased online via oeticket or at the event entrance at the Innsbruck market square.
